What You’ll Be Doing:

  • Running IQ (Installation Qualifications), OQ (Operational Qualifications), and PQ (Performance Qualifications), FQ (Fixture Qualifications) protocols to qualify products.

  • Conduct test method validations to ensure new testers meet their requirements.

  • Facilitate prototype runs, documenting issues in planned production methods.

  • Run and document Pilot builds to determine product readiness for production.

  • Help create work instructions to allow smooth transitions to production.

  • Help confirm cycle times to ensure engineering estimates are accurate.

  • Train operators in the start of production on the new processes.

  • Collaborate with other functional areas to resolve problems and develop improved manufacturing processes.

  • Make efforts to reduce manufacturing waste and process complexity.

  • Travel required 5-10% internationally and/or domestically

What We’re Looking For:

  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience manufacturing environments.

  • Able to use the required measurement equipment for taking measurements during qualification runs.

  • Keen eye for detail in ensuring new processes are developed appropriately.

  • Willingness to highlight issues which will cause waste or potential quality issues in the future.

What You’ll Be Doing:

• Manage CFM development activities per JE procedures
• Define technical aspects of RFQs and clarify customer requirements
• Maintain detailed records of requirements and changes
• Build strong technical relationships with customer counterparts
• Support customer PDTs, document reviews, and build events
• Provide internal support for non-development engineering tasks
• Coordinate with production plants during development
• Support JE’s SSKU strategy for new products

What We’re Looking For:

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Mechanical, Aerospace, or Electrical Engineering

• Ability to work for any employer in United States without current or future visa sponsorship
• At least 3 years' experience with cooling fan modules and design, as well as electronics and brushless motors
• Experience working with OEM directly as a Tier 1 customer level interface with a strong understanding of OEM deliverables and program milestones, reading specifications and understanding requirements of OEMs.

• Experience with plastic injection design optimization
• Experience with FEA analysis at a high level, i.e., constraints, outputs, methodologies to improve results, etc.
• Ability to plan and solve complex technical problems
• Experience with Red X or Six Sigma methods preferred
• Eagerness to learn and a positive, adaptable attitude with job flexibility to take on various tasks to keep things moving


Bonus Points If You Have:

• Green or Black Belt certification in quality methods

• Familiarity with mechanical CAD tools (Catia, NX preferred)
• Experience supporting global engineering teams

As our next, you will serve as the primary point of contact between Johnson Electric and its customers for quality-related issues. You’ll lead root cause analysis, manage non-conformance issues, and coordinate containment activities to ensure customer satisfaction and protect JE’s reputation and operations.

• Strong knowledge of 8D reporting, quality tools, and PPAP
• Experience working with external customers and managing complaints
• Familiarity with motors, actuators, and pumps
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills
• Ability to work independently and manage urgent issues remotely
• Advanced proficiency in English
