Approximately 3x domestic and 2x international trips per year
• Manage CFM development activities per JE procedures
• Define technical aspects of RFQs and clarify customer requirements
• Maintain detailed records of requirements and changes
• Build strong technical relationships with customer counterparts
• Support customer PDTs, document reviews, and build events
• Provide internal support for non-development engineering tasks
• Coordinate with production plants during development
• Support JE’s SSKU strategy for new products
• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Mechanical, Aerospace, or Electrical Engineering
• Ability to work for any employer in United States without current or future visa sponsorship
• At least 3 years' experience with cooling fan modules and design, as well as electronics and brushless motors
• Experience working with OEM directly as a Tier 1 customer level interface with a strong understanding of OEM deliverables and program milestones, reading specifications and understanding requirements of OEMs.
• Experience with plastic injection design optimization
• Experience with FEA analysis at a high level, i.e., constraints, outputs, methodologies to improve results, etc.
• Ability to plan and solve complex technical problems
• Experience with Red X or Six Sigma methods preferred
• Eagerness to learn and a positive, adaptable attitude with job flexibility to take on various tasks to keep things moving
• Green or Black Belt certification in quality methods
• Familiarity with mechanical CAD tools (Catia, NX preferred)
• Experience supporting global engineering teams
• Proven success in customer-facing technical roles
