• Collaborate with customers to understand needs and provide technical solutions
• Customize and configure product solutions to meet specifications and integrate into systems
• Act as the primary technical point of contact for customer inquiries and issues

• Lead technical project reviews with global CFT and customers (testing, DVP&R, FMEAs, launch timing)
• Assist in the development of cost models to ensure profitability and sustainability
• Act as subject matter expert in product liability claims and author expert reports
• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering (or related field)
• 3+ years of experience in application engineering or related role
• Proficiency in CAD software (Solid Edge preferred)
• Familiarity with motors, motor controls, motion systems, and electronics
• Proven ability to solve complex technical problems with creativity and empathy
• Strong leadership skills and ability to mentor junior engineers
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
• Courage to challenge the status quo and advocate for innovative solutions
• Capacity to lead new product development with strategic vision
• Strong problem-solving, decision-making, and organizational skills
• Demonstrated project management experience
• Advanced CAD experience beyond Solid Edge
• Background in ventilation and air handling products
• Experience authoring expert reports in product liability claims
