Job Description:
Honeywell recruits for a Customer Success Engineer. In this role, you will be accountable for providing technical expertise and facilitating to customers during the pre-sales phase, facilitating product presentations, offering solutions, and guiding customers in selecting the right products and solutions for their specific applications. You will also be accountable for providing technical training, facilitating project execution, developing advanced customer applications, tracking billable hours, and complementing our sales representatives with deep technical knowledge.
You will report directly to the Regional Sales head in Northern Europa and you'll work either remotely or from our designated location in Amsterdam.
In this role, you will have a significant impact on driving sales and customer satisfaction by leveraging your deep technical knowledge and expertise to provide tailored solutions to our customers' needs.

Description:

This individual contributor role requires a demonstrated ability to develop and implement effective Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) management systems, maintain regulatory compliance, and enhance the overall HSE culture for our Field Services Teams, who are working across the Netherlands onsite of refineries, chemical & paper production sites and within offshore operations. Our offices are also part of the responsibility.

As a Senior HSE Engineer, you will actively collaborate and participate as a valued member of the Netherlands country/site management team, providing strategic HSE leadership. You will offer guidance and technical support to senior management, engineers, advisors, and champions. Collaborating closely with our Senior HSE Engineer in Belgium, you will help ensure compliance with corporate and regulatory requirements, while actively working to minimize the risk of potential adverse HSE events in the Benelux region.

Responsibilities:

Provide HSE assistance to implement HSE Management System programs applicable for the office and field work environment and provide HSE support to all departments.

Liaise with HSE champions/advisors over the full range of their duties and responsibilities, with respect to inspections, reports, recommendations, changes in legislation and advice obtained from other parties.

Leads and participates in HSE inspections, self-assessments and audits. Presents findings to management and prepares applicable reports. Tracks corrective actions to closure.

Supports the Contract Management programs

Develops and deploys HSE procedures, training, internal and external communications in concert with Corporate, division policy/procedures and regulatory requirements.

Serves as liaison with third-party vendors and regulatory agencies.

Your Profile:

Minimum Bachelors or higher degree in Safety, Industrial Hygiene or Engineering (electrical, chemical, mechanical etc.) or equivalent diploma of Nebosh / BSC International Health and Safety

Minimum of 5 years of working experience in the health, safety and environmental field.

Experience working within Engineering, Oil & Gas, Process industry.

Minimum of 2 years’ experience conducting and leading internal audits and implementing or maintaining VCA Certificate and or other HSE management systems such as ISO 45001 and 14001.

Strong command of the Dutch and English language.

In possession of a valid Dutch Driver’s license.

  • Keep technically current with the broad HPS product/systems portfolio, whilst maintaining expert product knowledge on the safety systems product line and its interfaces to other HPS products
  • Diagnose the issue and provide problem solving and appropriate technical assistance solutions, specifically for safety systems
  • Accurately and professionally summarize discussions, meetings, and issues / solutions
  • Proactively follow-up on solutions / suggestions provided to customers to ensure no further action is required and the issue can be closed out
  • Onsite audit for required sites and feedback for all system audit results to the factory & project operations
  • Resolution of product quality issues including failure analysis process
  • Travel to sites when required to perform support for complex troubleshooting which can’t effectively be achieved remotely or by local resources
  • Provide occasional technical advice relating to system implementation, migration, support and training requirements
  • Consult the technical solutions for system & service enhancement with the customers
  • Maximization of Customer Satisfaction through responsiveness and quality of service
  • Communicate to Global TAC/Development engineering team for technical issues

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in technical discipline (Automation, Instrumentation, Electronic, Electrical or Mechatronics Engineering, Computer science)

  • Field experience with Honeywell safety system products
  • 5 years of experience in system / project engineering or technical / customer service function in the industrial automation industry

  • Seasoned safety systems engineering or customer service / support experience with strong knowledge of Honeywell safety system products
