As a Manager in our Internal Audit/ Risk Practice, you will:

  • Advise clients to understand and manage their business risks.
  • Lead and guide the team and client to create and deliver internal audit plans for accomplishing engagement objectives and strategies.
  • Lead internal audit engagements to help clients align their internal audit strategy to the broader business strategy, conduct assessments and diagnostics of current state internal controls, develop and execute internal audit transformation, and deliver outsourcing or co-sourcing services.
  • Offer recommendations to clients on risk management/ process and control issues.
  • Keeping up to date with innovative business and industry trends and brief the engagement team on the client’s internal audit environment.
  • Nurture client relationships to achieve service expectations, deliverables and outcomes.

To qualify for the role, you must have

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Accounting, Business, Finance, STEM or other related field of study.
  • Industry related certification (e.g., ACCA, ICAEW, CIA, CRMA, CRICS, ACAMS).
  • Approximately 6 years of related work experience.
  • Knowledge in IT and cybersecurity would be an advantage.
  • Proficiency with MS Office, including Ms Excel, Ms Word and Ms PowerPoint.
  • Demonstrate integrity, values, principles, and work ethic.

To qualify for the role, you must have:

Experience in one or more of the following Cloud Platforms:

Microsoft Azure:

  • Core Azure SQL and MSSQL server

AWS:

  • Proficiency in Snowflake Streams & Tasks for CDC and automation.
  • Experience with Snowflake Secure Data Sharing and Snowflake Marketplace.
  • Familiarity with Snowpark for Python/Java-based transformations.
  • Understanding of role-based access control, data masking, and time travel features.

Databricks:

  • Hands-on experience with Apache Spark and Databricks Runtime.
  • Proficiency in Delta Lake for ACID-compliant data lakes.
  • Experience with Structured Streaming and Auto Loader.

Successful applicants should also possess:

  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a Data Engineering role with a blue-chip consulting firm or in the Data Office/Data Engineering function of a multinational organisation or a large financial services institution.

  • Consult with clients making investment decisions on Digital, Data & Information Technology in transforming their organisations.
  • Drive Digital, Data & IT projects with clients while managing the budget, timelines, and quality of end deliverables.
  • Provide clients with advice on effective cost management within the Digital, Data & IT function and rationalize application portfolios.
  • Develop and execute strategies, architectures, and roadmaps to provide the client with need-based, value-adding, and cost-effective Digital solutions.
  • Define a cross-functional view of an organization’s digital capabilities.
  • Help clients gain insight into their digital maturity and quantify digital benefits to the enterprise.
  • Design client digital uplift programs.
  • Develop client digital journeys. Establish the why, the what and the how of making the transition. Help establish the business case. Document the overall digital transformation roadmap for change.
  • Team with various EY groups with digital, data, cyber, and cloud capabilities to pursue and deliver end-to-end digital engagements and enable solutions that will bring our client’s digital vision and strategy to life.

To qualify for the role, you must have

  • Bachelor's degree ideally in technology (Business with MIS, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Systems)
  • Minimum 7-10 years of experience with a proven track record.
  • Proven track record of successful delivery of large technology-driven engagements in area of Financial Services
  • Experience in building, leading, and coaching teams to achieve business objectives.
  • Ability to provide strategic leadership, with good decision-making, planning, and organizational skills.
  • Substantial experience in technology leadership roles at a consulting/professional services company, cloud or digital solutions provider, or customer environment in Enterprise solutions.
  • Experience using frameworks/methodologies to assess and recommend migration approaches and digital platform options.
  • Exceptional customer engagement, especially at C-level across both business and technology leadership. Ability to pivot from technology to business/commercial discussion, identifying the business value and benefits of digital.
  • Strong written and verbal communication for senior audiences.
  • Confidence to lead meetings with client sponsors, management, and individual contributors.

Ideally, you will also have

  • Results orientated and performance-driven approach.
  • Relevant digital, governance, or cyber certifications will be advantageous.
  • Experience in governance and people/skills/culture change management associated with a typical digital transformation project.
  • Experience in leading a team of 10 people or multiple smaller teams of people.
  • Leading and inspiring teams (directly or indirectly) on key technologies and best practices.
  • Engagement with Enterprise customers across multiple countries and industries in a broader region responsibility.

To qualify for the role, you must have

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Accounting, Business, Finance, STEM or other related field of study.
  • Industry related certification (e.g., ACCA, ICAEW, CIA, CRMA, CRICS, ACAMS).
  • Approximately 6 years of related work experience.
