Key Responsibilities:
Leadership & People Development
· Lead and develop the Country Quotes & Tender Leads across GEM, fostering a high-performing and collaborative team culture.
· Ensure consistent standards, clear accountability, and alignment with regional objectives.
· Coach and mentor team members to strengthen technical, commercial, and compliance capabilities.
· Conduct regular team reviews, performance evaluations, and best practice sharing sessions to drive continuous improvement.
Strategy & Alignment
· Coordinate and align with Regional Directors, Country Managers, and Sales Leaders to ensure tender strategies, pricing, and submissions are consistent with business priorities, profitability targets, and market access strategies.
· Monitor and analyze upcoming tenders across direct and distributor markets, ensuring early visibility and alignment on go/no-go decisions.
· Build and maintain a regional tender intelligence database capturing historical data, competitor benchmarks, win/loss ratios, and lessons learned.
· Partner with divisional and regional stakeholders to prioritize tenders that align with growth, profitability, and product lifecycle objectives.
Governance & Risk Management
· Drive commercial governance by enforcing pricing policies, approval matrices, and compliance with internal and external regulations.
· Oversee risk assessments for high-value or complex tenders, coordinating reviews with Legal, Finance, Regulatory, and Compliance functions.
· Ensure contract execution, extensions, and documentation are properly managed and aligned with corporate standards.
· Coordinate post-tender activities, including clarifications, negotiations, and objections when appropriate, ensuring accountability for results.
Process Leadership & Capability Development
· Act as the regional center of excellence for tendering, ensuring process harmonization, documentation standards, and audit readiness.
· Develop and deploy standardized tools, templates, and training to strengthen local and distributor capability in tender management and compliance.
· Partner with Commercial Excellence, Supply Chain, and O2C teams to digitize and automate tender tracking and reporting systems (SAP, Magellan, or local platforms).
· Identify and implement continuous improvement initiatives to increase efficiency, transparency, and tender success rate.
Analytics & Performance Management
· Establish and monitor key tender KPIs, including win rate, cycle time, pricing accuracy, and compliance metrics.
· Prepare regular regional reports and insights for leadership to support decision-making.
· Conduct quarterly tender performance reviews with country and cluster teams to share performance results, risks, and improvement plans.
· Build strong, value-based relationships with governmental and private procurement bodies to position Boston Scientific as a trusted partner.
· Facilitate transparent communication across Sales, Legal, Finance, Regulatory, Supply Chain, and Commercial Excellence functions.
· Represent GEM in regional and global tender initiatives, ensuring local needs and best practices are shared effectively.
Qualifications & Experience:
· University degree in Business, Economics, Engineering, or a related discipline.
· Minimum 10 years of experience in tenders, pricing, or commercial operations within the medical device or healthcare industry.
· Proven track record in leading multi-country tender operations and managing cross-functional teams.
· Strong leadership, communication, and influencing skills.
· Excellent analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
· Proficiency in MS Office; SAP and tender management systems experience preferred.
· Fluent in English (additional regional languages are an asset).

New Cardio Graduate Foundation Training Program
Successful candidates will be offered a 12 month fixed term contract, where they will learn and expand experiences in the New Cardio field from our trained Sales and Support Representatives in a live environment. This will give you a first-hand insight into the commercial world of Healthcare outside of a University setting. You will develop many competencies while performing in a professional work situation.
This role will be based in Istanbul and will require daily travel throughout the region.
Key Responsibilities:
• Participate in learning and training events to develop product knowledge, clinical, and commercial skills.
• Become certified as a subject matter expert on a designated franchise product area.
• Accompany a Field Coach to learn about working in a clinical setting
• Interact with Healthcare professionals and patients in clinical interventions
• Plan and deliver daily interventions with clinicians
• Educate clinicians on a product franchise
• Commercially promote a product franchise
• Contributes to the preparation and production of presentations and reports by using word processing, spreadsheets, and other computer programs.

Profile Requirements:

• Be fluent in English (C1)
• Have planning, time management, strong communication, and presentation skills.
• Have completed a placement within a clinical, hospital, or similar setting.
• Be computer/technically savvy.

Stock Clerical
Assists in receiving, handling and dispatching goods in the warehouse and maintaining records according to defined standards.
Key Responsibilities
· Verifies orders. Operates computer to electronically guide order picks and check items off picking list. Packs and dispatches outgoing products in a timely and accurate manner.
· Participates in stock counts as required.
· Prepares the necessary documentation and maintains records associated with the receipt of products into a store and/or the dispatch of finished products.
· Maintains warehouse housekeeping in accordance to documented standards.
