You’ll own the end-to-end influencer strategy for Spain - from scouting and managing creators to developing briefs, negotiating contracts, and executing standout campaigns that connect Airbnb to culturally relevant conversations.
This is your chance to build the influencer program from the ground up, crafting locally resonant, social-first campaigns that celebrate Spanish culture, highlight the positive impact of Airbnb in rural communities, and amplify key global launches.

You’ll work closely with our communications, policy, and marketing teams and our agency partners, to deliver work that drives authentic engagement, brand love, and meaningful impact.

A Typical Day:
  • Execute local influencer campaigns aligned to regional and global priorities, owning timelines, creative execution, and performance tracking
  • Build and manage strong relationships with creators - from up-and-coming talent to seasoned partners - to ensure authentic storytelling and long-term brand advocacy
  • Identify and vet influencers for brand and campaign fit across Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube, ensuring inclusive, culturally relevant casting
  • Draft clear, strategic briefs that reflect campaign objectives, key messages, and content guidelines
  • Partner with legal and agency teams to draft and negotiate influencer contracts, including deliverables, usage rights, paid media options, exclusivity, and payment
  • Identify potential opportunities for collaboration with key opinion formers including policy, cultural and news influencers and third party validators and build out policy influencer program in Spain, including how and when we work with agencies to execute
  • Collaborate with internal teams (PR, policy, social, marketing, legal, and community) to ensure seamless campaign delivery
  • Manage all logistics for influencer stays or experiences - including vetting, Host coordination, credit/coupon approvals
  • Lead influencer onboarding and content reviews to ensure quality and alignment with Airbnb brand standards
  • Track influencer performance, deliver regular updates to the regional team, and support the creation of end-of-campaign reports across all social channels (with support from agency)
  • Work with the Marketing Affiliates team and regional influencer lead to align plans, avoid duplication of efforts, and maximize impact of our influencer campaigns
  • Partner with the policy team and policy comms manager to ideate and create strong reputation building campaigns through relevant key opinion leaders and polictical and economic influencers and industry experts
  • Stay plugged into culture and trends: bringing forward creator ideas, campaign hooks, and reactive opportunities in real time
  • Monitor performance using tools such as CreatorIQ and Sprinklr; partner with agency to optimize campaigns accordingly
Your Expertise:
  • 5–7 years of experience in influencer marketing, talent partnerships, or social-first content strategy
  • A deep understanding of the creator landscape in Spain and strong instincts on what content resonates and why
  • Proven ability to manage end-to-end influencer campaigns: from sourcing and briefing to contracting and performance analysis
  • Track record of advising political decision makers (party, NGO, corporate) on social media/amplification strategy, and running effective social media operations
  • Experience working with social platforms including Instagram, TikTok and YouTube

  • Ability to work at both strategic and tactical levels, with a proven track record to execute in ambiguous environments
