Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree required, preferably in a quantitative field. Equivalent Experience will be considered
- 3-5 years of experience in ESG reporting, sustainability or corporate social responsibility.
- Solid understanding of ESG reporting frameworks, such as GRI, SASB, and TCFD, and experience assessing and preparing ESG metrics.
- Experience working in a highly matrixed organization and collaboration with cross-functional teams and stakeholders at all levels of the organization with the ability to influence others without formal reporting relationships.
- Familiar with and have prepared reporting to ESG surveys, ratings agencies and benchmarking organizations including S&P CSA, CDP, MSCI, Sustainalytics, ISS, JUST Capital, etc.
- Strong analytical skills and technical acumen.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, including experience presenting to internal and external stakeholders at all levels.
- Understanding of evolving regulatory requirements related to ESG reporting and experience engaging with various external stakeholders on ESG issues.
- Ability to think strategically, adapt to change, and develop long-term plans to achieve business and sustainability outcomes.
- Able to inspire trust, clarity, and consensus within a complex, fast-paced and changing environment.
- Strong project management and organizational skills. Proven track record of balancing multiple projects and opposing priorities. Acute attention to detail and maintaining a consistent awareness of timelines is needed for success.
- Experience with sustainability reporting software (i.e. Metrio, Watershed, etc.) a plus.
- Experience with the assurance of ESG disclosures a plus.
