Bachelor’s degree required, preferably in a quantitative field. Equivalent Experience will be considered
3-5 years of experience in ESG reporting, sustainability or corporate social responsibility.
Solid understanding of ESG reporting frameworks, such as GRI, SASB, and TCFD, and experience assessing and preparing ESG metrics.
Experience working in a highly matrixed organization and collaboration with cross-functional teams and stakeholders at all levels of the organization with the ability to influence others without formal reporting relationships.
Familiar with and have prepared reporting to ESG surveys, ratings agencies and benchmarking organizations including S&P CSA, CDP, MSCI, Sustainalytics, ISS, JUST Capital, etc.
Strong analytical skills and technical acumen.
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, including experience presenting to internal and external stakeholders at all levels.
Understanding of evolving regulatory requirements related to ESG reporting and experience engaging with various external stakeholders on ESG issues.
Ability to think strategically, adapt to change, and develop long-term plans to achieve business and sustainability outcomes.
Able to inspire trust, clarity, and consensus within a complex, fast-paced and changing environment.
Strong project management and organizational skills. Proven track record of balancing multiple projects and opposing priorities. Acute attention to detail and maintaining a consistent awareness of timelines is needed for success.
Experience with sustainability reporting software (i.e. Metrio, Watershed, etc.) a plus.
Experience with the assurance of ESG disclosures a plus.
