Key Responsibilities

  • Responsible for a broad portfolio of International and/or large Irish domestic clients.
  • Provision of Tax Consulting advice to some of the world’s largest multi-national groups.
  • Advising clients on large and complex cross-border transactions including mergers, acquisitions, group restructurings, IP alignment planning, transfer pricing etc.
  • Assisting clients in developing international Tax strategies and keeping up to date on Tax developments.
  • Working closely with Partners and other team members in providing advice to clients on a wide range of International Tax advisory projects.
  • Project Management of Irish and cross-border planning projects.
  • Researching and reviewing Tax technical memorandum and reports.
  • Liaising with Irish Revenue and foreign Tax authorities on behalf of clients.
  • Opportunities to work with other service lines across Assurance, Strategy, Consulting, and Transactions.
  • Supervising and mentoring a large team across numerous levels.

What we look for

  • A qualified Tax consultant, with good corporate Tax experience and ideally some international Tax experience.
  • Should be comfortable dealing with clients and building relationships.
  • They will be a good communicator, self-motivated and capable of leading a team.
  • Will be responsible for managing a large portfolio of international and/or domestic corporate Tax clients.
  • Be involved in the development of the wider Tax team as well as leading business development initiatives.
