As part of the Rack Decom team, you will be responsible for processing and facilitating legacy Data Center equipment through a liquidation process to ensure that targeted equipment is ready to be removed off premises. You will also process large volumes of customer data to ensure that all customer data is sanitized and properly managed.You will develop familiarity with basic PC components/hardware (HDD/SSD/Flash/Removable storage media/Ram/CPU/Motherboard/Input-Output devices)AWS Infrastructure Services (AIS)

Safety:
- Follow and maintain the highest safety standards and diligently encourage a world-class safety culture. Own the safety initiatives and projects to foster a strong safety culture.Rack Decom Operations:
- Decommissioning and processing of legacy hardware out of the data center facilities
- Hard drive installation, removal, and destruction
- Troubleshooting events within internal Service Level Agreements (SLAs)
- Basic Networking equipment removal/installation and clearing of configurations.
- Interact with third party vendors & contractors
- Manual handling and lifting of equipment (weight limits in accordance with regulations)About the team
