This role will be responsible for supporting and guiding our manufacturing facilities for MICT (Molecular Imaging and Computed Tomography). You will work very closely with plant managers of the facilities to help them continue to increase the LEAN maturity of the manufacturing facilities. While improving safety, quality, delivery, efficiency, and people capabilities. This role will also lead and support MICT HOSHIN KANRI (strategy) breakthrough objectives.
While partner with other lean leaders to continue to build capabilities throughout GEHC.
Responsibilities:
  • Coach and develop MICT team members at all levels of the organization to build lean skills and become practitioners, with a focus not only on tools but on methods and most importantly on behaviors.
  • In partnership with MICT business leaders and other lean resources, increase the organization's lean maturity using the standard GEHC lean maturity model
  • Lead, facilitate and coach cross functional teams in improving processes and systems.
  • Apply and coach advanced lean methods to improve safety, quality, process stability, increase on-time delivery, reduce lead time, and improve cash flow.
  • Assist the execution of relevant Hoshin Kanri breakthrough transformations.
  • Support the roadmap of lean priorities and maturity of the MICT organization.
  • Lead value stream optimization.
  • Partner with business leaders to increase the organization's kaizen mindset and cadence.
  • Maintain Kaizen Event Funnel & Roadmap for the Segment/Region/Support Functions.
  • Embed shop floor visual management across the manufacturing facilities and coach leaders at various levels in improving daily management and problem solving.
  • Partner with GEHC corporate lean team in continuously improving the lean method.
  • Must be able to travel approximately 25-50% of the time domestically and internationally.
Skills Requirements:
  • Demonstrated ability to solve complex problems and transform business performance and process through the application of Lean techniques.
  • Demonstrated ability to increase the organization's lean maturity.
  • Lean practitioner, capable of facilitating kaizen events and coaching core tools such as Daily Visual Management, Scientific Problem Solving, Value Stream Mapping, Standard Work and Transactional Process Improvement.
  • Proven to be effective driving outcomes in large, matrixed organizations – understands how to navigate geographies, cultures, relationships, etc. Can drive work around the world because they are accountable, trustworthy, credible, committed, and intellectually agile.
  • Change agent, able to make the case for lean, demonstrate immediate impact and drive cultural change within the business transactional processes and in manufacturing environments.
  • Highly collaborative; comfortable with constructive conflict and debate normally associated with change.
  • Critical thinker with the ability to bring others along, even those with conflicting priorities.
  • Impactful communicator from the shop floor to the boardroom.
Basic Qualifications:
  • BS or BA Degree; Master’s Degree preferred
  • Minimum of 7-10+ years mastering a variety Lean and Growth-related tools such as: Hoshin Kanri / Strategy Deployment, Problem Solving, Daily Management, Standard Work, Value Stream / Process Mapping, TPS methodology, Toyota Kata.
  • Experience Leading / Improving / Transforming within Factory, Supply Chain, Supplier Performance.
