What you`ll do

You will be part of international agile scrum team of curious developers who:

• Operate an internal GitOps environment providing SAP teams the opportunity to easily run their services on a standardized platform the best way possible.
• Provide internal GitHub Action runners enabling developers to build compliant products.
• Take an end-to-end responsibility for the services – from the code to the productive environment.
• Maintain high availability – with auto-scaling and zero-downtime maintenance wherever possible.
• Follow agile practices and principles being part of a larger SAFe setup, aiming at end-user satisfaction.
• Work with the latest cloud technologies and architectures.

What you bring

• Degree or comparable qualification in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
• Quickly analyze and solve problems in a worldwide team setup.
• Excellent team player, passionate about his/her work, self-motivated and driven.
• Very good English language skills.
• Understanding of Agile methodologies.
• Should have experience withleading cloud providers (GCP, AWS, etc.).
• Must have experience with Kubernetes & container technologies:
  • Proficiency in container technologies (e.g., Docker).
  • Hands-on experience with Kubernetes principles and architecture.
  • Expertise in developing and managing Kubernetes Operators using Golang .
• Infrastructure Management & DevOps Practices:
  • Background in Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using tools like Terraform.
  • Experience in CI/CD pipelines with tools like GitHub Actions .
  • Knowledge of GitOps principles and practices for managing Kubernetes clusters is a plus.
• Programming & Scripting:
  • Experience with Python for scripting, automation, and infrastructure tooling.
  • Knowledge of Typescript for application development is a plus.
  • Experience with Git for version control.
• Monitoring & Troubleshooting:
  • Experience with monitoring and logging tools like Splunk to ensure system reliability.
  • Ability to troubleshoot issues in cloud-native environments.
