What you`ll do

• In this role, you will act as team lead for the Product Management (PM) team in Sofia, and work closely with the PM team lead in Walldorf on building a high performing team across locations. The position focusses on team and people development activities and provides opportunities to broaden responsibilities over time. Your initial responsibilities will include the following:
• Support the team in agile methodologies by establishing a leadership framework, coaching self-organization, and building effective work practices.
• Provide guidance and career development opportunities to team members, helping them grow their skills and advance their careers.
• Ensure efficient communication inside and outside the team up to senior management.
• Advance team bonding, foster a collaborative and inclusive team culture, promote agile practices and continuous learning to adapt to changing requirements and technologies.
• Cultivate the team identity, raise awareness of the team's mission and values within the Sofia location and beyond.
• Strengthen collaboration with the development teams to ensure seamless cooperation.
• Act as a role model by relentlessly striving for continuous improvement in the team.

What you bring

• Degree in computer science or comparable qualification
• Experience in product management and willingness to transition into a people leadership role.
• Commitment to creating a culture where team members are empowered to take ownership of their work and decisions, promoting autonomy and accountability.
• Familiarity with agile working practices, knowledge of the Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) is advantageous.
• Experience in the field of software development, preferably in Cloud Native Technologies and/or Platform Engineering.
• Experience in leading distributed teams with various skill sets and engaging with different stakeholders.
• Ability to inspire and motivate others to create an environment of trust and continuous learning.
• Strong communication skills to communicate effectively with internal and external parties.
• Fluent written and spoken English
