About the role
In this role, you will own our media agency relationships, ensuring that strategies deliver against brand objectives. This role would suit someone from a strategic media planning background (agency or client side) with a deep understanding of strategy, data, channel planning, consumer insights and media investment.
Your Impact in Role
- Managing brand media strategy for TW, HK and SK, including planning, activation and measurement for our highest priority brand initiatives.
- Working closely with internal marketing, data science, external media and creative agency partners, the Media Lead will be responsible for driving a holistic, integrated media strategy.
- Acting as the in-house media subject matter expert and working with partners to develop innovative media plans which drive brand impact.
- Leading strategic media planning and negotiations with major media partners and tech platforms
- Identifying the right channel mix and partnering with marketing leads to deliver best-in-class media campaigns.
The Experience You'll Bring
- A strong strategic thinker with the ability to translate consumer insights and marketing challenges into actionable media recommendations.
- An understanding of all parts of the media process, such as media investment, cost savings, data strategy and targeting techniques.
- A strong working knowledge of brand media measurement and in-flight optimisation.
- The ability to influence and manage senior stakeholders with effective communication skills.
- Experience managing multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-moving environment.
- Effective leadership of media agency team(s) to deliver high quality service and media delivery.
- Deep familiarity with the media landscape (online and offline) in Taiwan.
- 8+ years experience of media strategy and/or media planning.
- In-house Brand Marketing and/or Media Agency experience.
- Strong knowledge of digital and programmatic media.
- Understanding and experience with brand and media measurement and reporting methods.
- Previous responsibility managing integrated brand media campaigns with significant budgets.
Preferred Qualifications
- Familiarity with the media landscape (online and offline) in Hong Kong and South Korea.
- Experience managing paid media across multiple countries (preferably Taiwan, Hong Kong and/or South Korea)
- Flexible, with the ability to excel in a fast-paced environment
- A keen eye for detail and a strong bias for action
- Confident with agile working methods such as Google Workspace and Slack
- Hands-on use of digital media platforms & channels
- Positive can-do attitude who can find creative solutions
- Previous experience working in a matrixed organisation
