WHAT YOU'LL DO

Are you ready for your next career step within SAP? We offer you the opportunity to join the ERP CD Performance & Observability team as Senior DevOps Engineer.

• You will drive and support E2E performance investigation, especially on the infrastructure layer for the S/4HANA Cloud, public edition. Within this role you should have a strong focus on SAP Technology, OS, network and storage.
• You will work on expert performance monitoring, pro-active performance optimization and root cause analysis for our S/4HANA Cloud Public customers.
• As we are transforming S/4HANA Cloud, public edition further to a true SaaS solution you are able to adopt to new technologies and are able to leverage cloud technology standards.
• Beneficial: You support the extension of our monitoring, reporting & alerting framework either with delivering content or by development in (SQL) script languages.
• You will actively engage with different units within ERP Cloud Delivery and within SAP to set performance standards and work on existing ones.

WHAT YOU BRING

• Bachelor / Master’s degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering or Business Information Technology
• 6 - 9 years of experience in service, engineering or technical operations role
• Very good understanding of SAPs basis technology, S/4 HANA and HANA architecture and support tools.
• Excellent SAP workload and end-to-end performance analysis skills
• Very good understanding of at least one of the hyperscaler platforms (Azure, GCP, AWS) is beneficial.
• Experience as a SAP Basis consultant is beneficial
• Complex thinking, strong analytical skills and creativity in solving complex challenges required.
• Conceptual and structured work style with a strong sense for prioritization; result and execution oriented
• Customer focus and strong interpersonal, verbal, presentation and writing skills.
• High level of motivation, flexibility, and agility
• Motivated to work in an international and fast paced environment.
