Responsibilities

• Design intuitive, engaging UI/UX for web and mobile using Figma
• Build responsive, performant front-end experiences with Next.js, React, and V0.dev
• Contribute to and maintain scalable design systems using Tailwind CSS
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams—product, engineering, content—to deliver cohesive user experiences
• Integrate your work with a range of CMS platforms such as WordPress, Webflow, Builder.io, and/or Storyblock.
• Support site builds and optimization on WPEngine and Vercel
• Follow and apply website compliance standards (accessibility, performance, SEO)
• Utilize GitHub for version control, branching, pull requests, and peer reviews
• Maintain awareness of plugin ecosystems, selecting and integrating tools as needed (GreenHouse, Safebase)
• Ensure a high level of detail, documentation, and organization in both design and code
• Work on a flexible schedule with strong ownership of your time and deliverables

Requirements

• 1–4 years of experience in product design and/or frontend engineering
• Strong proficiency with Figma and an eye for layout, typography, and interaction design
• Familiarity with React, Next.js, and eagerness to deepen frontend engineering skills
• Comfortable working with GitHub and Homebrew-based development workflows
• Experience deploying to platforms like Vercel and WPEngine
• Confident in managing and customizing WordPress sites and plugins
• Proactive about learning and implementing AI tools like V0.dev
• Experience working across various CMS platforms with a fast learning curve
• Clear communicator who thrives in a collaborative, hybrid creative/technical environment
• Strong attention to website compliance standards (WCAG, SEO, performance best practices)

Nice to Haves

• Experience maintaining or contributing to a shared design system
• Exposure to motion/interaction design and animation tooling
• Background in startup environments or lean product teams
