Salesforce CPQ Administrator
Job Description
Position Overview Key Responsibilities
• System Administration: Manage and maintain the Salesforce CPQ platform, ensuring system stability, data integrity, and optimal performance.
• Configuration and Customization: Configure and customize Salesforce CPQ to meet business requirements, including creating and modifying product rules, pricing rules, and approval processes.
• User Support and Training: Provide ongoing support and training to end-users, addressing system issues and ensuring users are proficient in using Salesforce CPQ effectively.
• Data Management: Oversee data migration, integration, and cleansing activities within Salesforce CPQ to ensure accurate and up-to-date information.
• Process Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement best practices to streamline sales processes and enhance system efficiency.
• Reporting and Analytics: Develop and maintain custom reports and dashboards to provide insights into sales performance and support decision-making processes.
• Collaboration: Work closely with sales, finance, IT, and other departments to gather requirements, provide solutions, and ensure seamless integration with other business systems.
• Compliance and Security: Ensure the Salesforce CPQ platform complies with organizational policies, security standards, and industry regulations.
• Vendor Management: Collaborate with Salesforce support and other third-party vendors to resolve system issues and implement new features.
• Documentation: Create and maintain documentation for system configurations, processes, and user guides.
Required Qualifications
• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Experience: Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Salesforce Administrator, with at least 1 year of experience specifically in Salesforce CPQ administration.
• Certifications: Salesforce Certified Administrator and Salesforce Certified CPQ Specialist are preferred.
• Technical Skills: Proficiency in Salesforce CPQ configuration, customization, and maintenance. Strong understanding of Salesforce platform, including Sales Cloud and Service Cloud. Experience with data migration and integration tools.
• Problem-Solving: Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail.
• Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
• Project Management: Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously, with strong organizational and time-management skills.
• Team Player: Proven ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment, with a collaborative and proactive approach.
• Adaptability: Ability to adapt to changing business requirements and work in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Qualifications
• Experience: Experience in a high-growth technology company or a similar dynamic environment.
• Additional Certifications: Salesforce Advanced Administrator, Salesforce Platform App Builder.
• Technical Skills: Familiarity with Apex, Visualforce, Lightning components, and other Salesforce development tools.
• Business Acumen: Strong understanding of sales processes and business operations.
