The Cloud Renewal Executive (CRE) has overall responsibility for the daily management of assigned Cloud Renewals customer accounts, including account management strategies, engagement, and expansion plans to ensure profitable growth within these customers.
Maximize the value that customers and SAP receive through cloud renewals and use of the customers' deployed cloud software.
Serve as the primary point of contact for customers during renewal negotiations and maintain customer satisfaction throughout the renewals process.
Deliver end-to-end renewal execution through partnership with Customer Engagement Executives and Account Team, driving toward and ensuring mutually beneficial and successful outcomes.
Interface with customers on SAP’s behalf to negotiate commercial terms and drive incremental revenue.
Interact with customers primarily via telephone.
Develop and implement account strategies and plans for renewal customers that increase revenue retention and growth.
Increase cloud revenues through improved renewal rates, including cross-sell or upsell opportunities and potential contract restructures.
Maintain a close working relationship with other regional business teams such as Customer Engagement Executives (CEEs), Account Executives (AEs), Global Account Directors (GADs), and other customer-facing personnel, supporting customers and corporate functions necessary for all assigned accounts.
Manage deal management and commercial negotiation for renewals by providing end-to-end renewal execution support; maintain knowledge of commercial negotiation, renewal execution, and transactional steps related to renewals and replacements.
Provide renewal forecasting support by accurately evaluating renewals 12 months before expiration; clean up data inconsistencies and ensure accurate values and contract dates are maintained throughout their life cycle.
Act as an intermediary for Deals Desk, Legal, Go-to-Market (GTM) teams, and other internal SAP Support teams for those accounts within your portfolio. Liaise with various approval steps, including revenue recognition (rev rec), finance, office of CFO, legal, and more.
Manage the assignment of new accounts into your portfolio.
What you bring:
Fluent in English and another EMEA language.
3-5 years of experience in the following areas:
Maintenance or Cloud Renewals
Selling or delivering consulting services
Managing complex customer engagements
Commercial experience, including developing account management plans and contract negotiation
Experience in Complex Account Management.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office: Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Outlook.
Bachelor equivalent qualification is preferred.
Please note that this role can potentially be based in Barcelona or Cairo and may be transferred to the location of the successful candidate.
