The Cloud Sourcing, Security and Sustainability (CS3) organization within CSCP manages sourcing, strategy, and suppliers to provide cost, flexibility, and supply advantages that enable our org to become a world-class supply chain. Well-defined and executed sourcing and supply chain management ensures reliable, on-time performance and optimized cost, prevents urgent and unplanned investments, and provides accurate and timely information across the supply base and internally across the infrastructure organization. Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Operations Management, Supply Chain Analytics, or related field AND 10+ years supply planning, operations, supply chain, indirect supply planning, technology-related supply chain, sourcing and manufacturing, or related experience
    • OR Master's Degree in Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Business, Supply Chain Management, Operations Management, Supply Chain Analytics, or related field AND 8+ years supply planning, operations, supply chain, indirect supply planning, technology-related supply chain, sourcing and manufacturing, or related experience
    • OR equivalent experience.
  • 6+ years of experience with cloud hyperscalers or OEM supply chains.

Other Requirements:

Ability to meet Microsoft, customer and/or government security screening requirements are required for this role. These requirements include, but are not limited to, the following specialized security screenings:

• Microsoft Cloud Background Check: This position will be required to pass the Microsoft Cloud background check upon hire/transfer and every two years thereafter.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Master's degree in Supply chain, Business, Industrial Engineering and related fields with at-least 6 years of relevant industry experience

Responsibilities
  • Lead a team of supply chain managers responsible for securing and optimizing the global supply of critical commodities (DRAM, SSD, etc.) that power our cloud hardware infrastructure
  • The role encompasses supplier strategy, risk mitigation, and demand-supply alignment to ensure uninterrupted cloud capacity availability.
  • Partner cross-functionally with Planning, Operations and Finance to balance both cost & continuity, while collaborating with sourcing engineers to shape long-term sourcing and supply strategies in a highly volatile commodity market.
