Responsibilities

  • Manage an established team of two Product Operations Specialists and two Senior Product Operations Specialists

  • Place a high focus on supporting the professional development of your team of Product Operations Specialists

  • Partner with Group & Senior Product Managers on product operations support needs and coordinate product operations support allocation across the 15 flights product teams.

  • Build annual and quarterly operations roadmap, aligned with all product teams and ensure all dependencies are clearly mapped

  • Be able to keep a view of all product activities and understand where to focus efforts of Product Operations

  • Identify opportunities for Product Operations to help further enhance the growth of the flights

  • Identify areas for process improvement and implement solutions to streamline product operations.

  • Develop and maintain documentation for product operations processes and best practices.

  • Ensure smooth running of core financial processes including daily payout reporting and the monthly billing reconciliation cycle and identify areas of streamlining and automation

Requirements for the role

  • Strong experience in people management

  • Experience in product operations (or similar) roles, analyzing operational issues and coordinating across multiple stakeholders to drive process improvements

  • Experience working in a product management environment is essential as is having experience collaborating with product managers across all levels of the organization
  • Able to influence stakeholders at multiple levels and functions of the organization
  • Ability to proactively identify areas of opportunity within the product organization and where to drive improvements

  • Ability to structure, distill, and clearly document complex operations processes to drive clarity for the business and make actionable recommendations in a concise and persuasive manner

  • Excellent written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills

  • Ability and preference to take ownership, entrepreneurial, proactive with positive attitude, a self-starter who can manage multiple initiatives/priorities

  • Able and experienced in analyzing data to identify drivers of operational issues, using basic-to-intermediate excel/google-sheet skills

  • Knowledge of SQL or other data gathering and analysis techniques

  • Experience in project management is a plus

  • Expertise in technology, ideally in travel, e-commerce, payments and/or customer support is highly desirable
