Cyber Security Specialist

As a Cyber Security Specialist at Honeywell, in Asker - Norway, you will be responsible for provide on-site cyber security services for Industrial Control Systems in various industrial markets, including Oil and Gas, Hydrocarbon Processing, Power Generation, Pulp, Paper & Printing, Continuous Web Solutions, Petrochemicals, Life Sciences, and Metals, Minerals, and Mining. The role encompasses security consultancy, assessments, governance, implementation, and other related tasks.

Stay updated with the latest in cyber security technologies and maintain expertise in designated security disciplines.

Keep current with cyber security certifications.

Maintain knowledge of industry security standards (IEC-62443, ISO27000, European regulations, etc.).

Maintain industrial safety awareness through relevant safety certifications.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s in computer science, Computer Information Systems, Cyber Security, or equivalent.

Previous experience in industrial automation systems engineering or industrial networking.

Proficiency in Linux/Windows security basics and with virtualization technologies, preferably VMware.

Expertise in cyber security risk analysis, policy development, disaster recovery planning, system management and analysis skills for designing and assessing complex security systems.

Knowledge of LAN/WAN architectures and diagnostic tools.

implementing security functions such as SIEM, Firewalls, IPS, IDS, whitelisting/blacklisting, and backup/restore solutions.

Proficient in TCP/IP protocols (SMTP, SNMP, FTP, HTTP, SSH, SSL) and industrial protocols (OPC, Modbus, Sercos, DNP3, Ethernet/IP).

CISSP/CISM/CISCO/MCSE certification are a plus.
