PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITY:
Directs the coordination of technical and administrative support activities including installation, repair, preventative maintenance, and engineering change upgrades.
Ensures adequate records and systems are maintained.
Schedules personnel responding to critical situations. Maintains communication with design management and specialists in resolving technical problems and/or bringing problems to the design department’s attention.
Selects, develops, and evaluates personnel to ensure the efficient operation of the function.
Administers company policies that directly affect employees. Recommends changes to unit or sub-unit policies. Management reviews work to measure meeting of objectives.
Works on issues where analysis of situation or data requires review of
relevant factors.
Exercises judgment within defined procedures and policies to determine
appropriate action.
Frequently interacts with individual contributors, supervisors, and functional peer groups.
Interaction normally requires the ability to gain cooperation of others, conducting presentations of technical information concerning specific projects or schedules.
May provide direct supervision to nonexempt
employees (i.e., technicians, support personnel).
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelors degree in technical field or business administration and 4 years of experience in the semiconductor industry.
Prefer previousexperience but not required
