Job responsibilities
- Supports immediate team of software engineers on daily tasks and activities
- Anticipates dependencies with other teams to deliver products and applications in line with business requirements
- Manages stakeholder relationships in accordance with compliance standards, service level agreements, and business requirements
- Creates a culture of diversity, equity, inclusion, and respect for the team members and prioritizes diverse representation
Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills
- Formal training or certification on software engineering concepts and 5+ years applied experience
- Coaching and mentoring experience.
- Experience managing technologists
- Advanced experience within Oracle HCM Compensation
- Currently has relevant Oracle Certification and/or will obtain the certification within 12 months of hire
- Proficient in automation and continuous delivery methods
- Proficient in all aspects of the Software Development Life Cycle
- Advanced understanding of agile methodologies such as CI/CD, Applicant Resiliency, and Security
- In-depth knowledge of the financial services industry and their IT systems
- Practical cloud native experience
- Experience in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field and expertise in technology disciplines
Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills
- Experience with Oracle Redwood design system and Visual Builder
- Oracle HCM Compensation Certified
- Implemented HCM Compensation for couple of clients
