In this role, you’re expected to:

  • New product setup, static data maintenance for Wealth Asia North insurance business
  • Insurance policy processing, initial & recurring premium billing, premium manual debits, refunds, payment to underwriters.
  • Insurance commission reconciliations, accruals, booking revenues, management reporting.
  • Lead the Insurance & Investment operations functions discussions. interact with internal stakeholders including product, sales, operations & technology, risk & control and external stakeholders for the wealth products.
  • Review, apply appropriate controls, seek delegation approvals, and approve for financial entries.
  • Ensure compliance with government regulations as they pertain to retail accounts serviced through the evaluation and implementation of appropriate control and testing measures.
  • Facilitate alignment of the operations process support for new product, new feature launches, technology enhancements and process streamline.
  • Monitor team’s performance, ensuring quality & efficiency, resource planning, budget management & formulation of procedures.
  • Provide evaluative judgement based on analysis of information and in-depth knowledge of policies and procedures in complicated and unique situations.
  • Acts as SME to senior stakeholders and /or other team members, serve as an analytical and/or procedural expert, representing a unit or team on cross function operational processes and project deliverables and has the ability to operate with limited level of direct supervision.

As a successful candidate, you’d ideally have the following skills and exposure:

  • 5+ years of relevant experience
  • Minimum 2 years managerial experience with strong ability to drive and motivate team.
  • Experience with automated end-to-end sourcing tools.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office
  • Ability and experience working in a fast paced, high-pressure environment.
  • Proven organization and time management skills
  • Demonstrated problem-solving and decision-making skills.
  • Consistently demonstrates clear and concise written and verbal communication skills.
  • Bachelor’s degree/University degree or equivalent experience
