Key Responsibilities: Develop and Maintain Applications: Design and implement high-quality, scalable declarative applications using Python and Kubernetes, ensuring seamless user experiences. Automate and scale data centric operations and process API Design and Development: Design and develop REST APIs to facilitate smooth data exchange between client-side applications and server-side infrastructure. Continuous Integration/Deployment: Collaborate with the team to implement CI/CD pipelines, ensuring rapid delivery of high-quality software. Mentorship: Provide guidance and support to junior engineers, sharing best practices and promoting a culture of learning and collaboration. Requirements: 6+ years of Software Engineering experience: Proven track record in designing and building large-scale applications. HIghly Proficient in Python and REST API and expertise in building dynamic, responsive applications. Experience in Kubernetes custom resource definitions and highly extensible systems. Experience building declarative systems. API Design: Demonstrated experience in designing and implementing RESTful APIs. SQL and Postgres: 2+ years of experience working with relational databases. Containerization: Proficiency in Docker and Kubernetes for application deployment and management. Nice to have: GraphQL and Relay: Experience with modern API query languages to enhance data fetching capabilities. Startup Environment: Familiarity with the dynamics of early-stage startups and the agility required in such settings. Tier 1 ($70k-110k) Tier 2 ($90k-120k) Tier 3 ($100k-150k) - This salary range will be reflective of different markets - geographic location and level skillset dependent.
