Your key responsibilities

  • Support in-scope aspects of onboarding, compliance, payment processing, and tracking of external workers for an assigned group
  • Collect, review, and enable approvals for timesheets and invoices submitted by our vendors and workers
  • Track activities related to assigned group in applicable databases and software systems
  • Liaise with internal teams and other enablement functions within a large professional services environment
  • Serve as an internal subject matter expert on EWO team processes, tools and reporting, and become an internal expert in our use of technology and third party enablement & services
  • Manage the reporting for a given area of expertise (bi-monthly reports, ad-hoc requests, etc.) and provide analysis of relevant trends for leadership
  • Provide proactive reporting on key lifecycle updates such as days remaining, total spend, and internal compliance adherence
  • Manage team mailbox to determine appropriate distribution of department work and triage special requests
  • Help identify opportunities for improvement, partner with internal stakeholders and external vendors (and with approval) implement procedural enhancements to processes and tools
  • Provide project/program management on department projects
  • Manage key relationships across multiple functions within and outside of EWO, managing escalations and approval requests as needed in a matrixed leadership firm
  • Support adherence to standard processes and adherence to quality standards for our external worker population


Additional analytical/decision making responsibilities

  • Has in-depth knowledge of the firm’s business, organizational structure, and human resources operations and how this relates to their area and overall EWO operations
  • Understands and navigates dependencies with other teams and stakeholders, manages relationships well and partners with leaders to address areas of misalignment
  • Uses knowledge and skills to analyze trends, challenge existing processes and makes recommendations to improve processes and/or operational efficiencies related to their area of expertise
  • Uses proven judgment in applying policies and procedures
  • Demonstrates professionalism, leadership, proven problem solving and analytical skills
  • Follows through on commitments and accepts ownership of results
  • Performs duties and responsibilities with minimal supervision from department Supervisor in accordance with department(s) policies, procedures and service level agreements
  • Exercises a high degree of independence and autonomy, yet works collaboratively with leaders to ensure alignment and consistency
  • Communicates with and influences stakeholders and leadership in area of expertise
  • Collect, interpret and analyze non-employee data
  • Contribute to projects related to system and service rollouts, enhancements, and integrations (ex. requirements gathering, UAT)
  • Develops and maintains effective working relationships with stakeholders in and outside of the EWO; supports an environment that promotes effective teamwork and collaboration

  • Ability to identify and resolve issues that impact system transactions impacting non-employees
  • Basic project management skills (e.g., identify objectives and stakeholders, collect inputs, provide status updates, confirm decisions, manage communications)
  • Develop strong knowledge and application of relevant EY practices
  • Ability to meet new challenges and changes with an open mind


To qualify for the role, you must have

  • 3-5 years of relevant work experience
  • Post-secondary education
  • Advanced data and Analytics experience with strong Excel abilities
  • Excellent presentation, verbal and written communication skills
  • Interacts effectively with others, developing rapport within and outside of the department
  • Demonstrates advanced proficiency with firm standard technology including MS Office applications (ex. Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, SharePoint), Intranet, and other internal applications.
  • Strong leadership and coaching skills to strengthen individual and team performance

The salary range for this job in British Columbia is $44,400 to $66,600. Individual salaries within this range are determined through a wide variety of factors including but not limited to education, experience, knowledge, skills and work location city.
