Essential Responsibilities:

  • Complete understanding of the team's domain and drives the team's objectives and deliverables with an understanding of adjacent teams' business domains
  • Complete understanding of a feature, the users impacted, the flows impacted and feature's purpose
  • Comprehensive knowledge and understanding of business strategy and how the technical and engineering strategy aligns to this
  • Advanced knowledge of information systems technology and software development processes and tools, especially industry specific applications
  • Thorough knowledge of organizational policies and procedures
  • Strong analytical, product management, tactical planning and leadership skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to communicate with all parties involved in the product team (engineers, product owner, scrum master, third party vendors, customers, etc.)
  • Demonstrated management, leadership and interpersonal skills

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree, or equivalent work experience
  • Six to eight years of relevant technical experience

Preferred Skills/Experience:

  • Strong proficiency inJavaScript, including DOM manipulation and theJavaScriptobject model.
  • Five or more years of leading a software engineering team.
  • Knowledge of OOP and patterns.
  • Extensive hands-on experience inReactJS.
  • Extensive experience on creating Micro front end applications.
  • Modern JS (browser + Node.js),CSS, SCSS and HTML5.
  • Good Experience in NextJS / other Javascript frameworks.
  • Front end state managementRedux, ContextAPI,React Hooksetc.
  • ClientAPI GrapQL, Apollo Client, Axios, Fetch wrapperetc.
  • Knowledge of accessibility(A11y) and hands on experience with implementation along with supporting tools. WCAG 2.0 and above ADA compliance tools.
  • Reusable React JS component development.
  • Extensive experience on Responsive design system.
  • Experience withMicro frontend architecture.
  • Experience with Webpack with the entire ecosystem.
  • AWS or Azure experience for building large scale applications is preferr
  • Understanding the architecture of web applications, what's going on under the hood.
  • At least a basic understanding of web application performance Tools and libraries, cache management, state management.
  • SCSS / CSS 3, Style components, Webpack 4 and above.
  • Knowledge of modern authorization mechanisms, such as JSON Web Token.
  • Familiarity with modern front-end build pipelines and CI/CD tools like Jenkins, Cloudbees etc.
  • Experience with common front-end development tools such as Babel, Webpack, NPM, etc.
  • Familiarity with code versioning tools (GIT, TFS).
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

The salary range reflects figures based on the primary location, which is listed first. The actual range for the role may differ based on the location of the role. In addition to salary, U.S. Bank offers a comprehensive benefits package, including incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase 401(k) contribution and pension (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements).
