What you should do
Provide planning and project management, with focus on but not limited to initiatives around infrastructure/DB migrations, SAP technical upgrades, SAP client and system refreshes, continuous service improvement, vulnerability remediation and long-term remediation across SAP technology workstreams
Lead global implementations and partner with global teams and service providers delivering complex sustainment initiatives
Act as a thought leader, innovator, and agent of change to influence and drive implementation strategies and proactively share knowledge with team members
Support multiple projects utilizing Kanban/Agile Scrum methodologies
Ensures team maintains focus on quality and continuous delivery
Provides visibility into delivery targets, commitments, and progress while managing a financial budget
Proactively identifies impediments and appropriately resolves using network of peers and formal channels (including escalation if required)
Understands product and provides visibility into team progress towards commitments and outcomes and proactively addresses questions
Effectively develops and facilitates team and project events through clear and concise communications
How we see an ideal candidate
Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Systems, or a related field
Project management skills, including the ability to prioritize tasks, meet deadlines, and coordinate resources
A minimum of 5 years' experience as SAP/ERP technical project manager
Ability to adapt to a dynamic and fast-paced work environment, and to deal with ambiguity, manage multiple priorities, and meet stretch goals
Excellent communication (written and oral) and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders
Working knowledge of common tools used in this role - MS-Project, Spotfire, SharePoint and MS Office tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
Proven experience in leading a team, preferably in an SAP or ERP environment
Strong understanding of SAP systems/landscapes/infrastructure (including cloud), modules, and their integration capabilities
Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities, with acute attention to detail
Continuous improvement mindset: always seeking opportunities to enhance processes, streamline operations, and improve the accuracy of financial data
Proven ability to effectively work in a highly matrixed environment, with partners from different internal and external groups and geographies
Experience associated with validated software environments (SDLC) is a plus
Experience in regulated pharma industry is a plus
Knowledge of Agile Principles and Scrum Methodology is a plus
