Job Description

What you should do

• Provide planning and project management, with focus on but not limited to initiatives around infrastructure/DB migrations, SAP technical upgrades, SAP client and system refreshes, continuous service improvement, vulnerability remediation and long-term remediation across SAP technology workstreams

• Lead global implementations and partner with global teams and service providers delivering complex sustainment initiatives

• Act as a thought leader, innovator, and agent of change to influence and drive implementation strategies and proactively share knowledge with team members

• Support multiple projects utilizing Kanban/Agile Scrum methodologies

• Ensures team maintains focus on quality and continuous delivery

• Provides visibility into delivery targets, commitments, and progress while managing a financial budget

• Proactively identifies impediments and appropriately resolves using network of peers and formal channels (including escalation if required)

• Understands product and provides visibility into team progress towards commitments and outcomes and proactively addresses questions

• Effectively develops and facilitates team and project events through clear and concise communications

How we see an ideal candidate

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Systems, or a related field

• Project management skills, including the ability to prioritize tasks, meet deadlines, and coordinate resources

• A minimum of 5 years' experience as SAP/ERP technical project manager

• Ability to adapt to a dynamic and fast-paced work environment, and to deal with ambiguity, manage multiple priorities, and meet stretch goals

• Excellent communication (written and oral) and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders

• Working knowledge of common tools used in this role - MS-Project, Spotfire, SharePoint and MS Office tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)

• Proven experience in leading a team, preferably in an SAP or ERP environment

• Strong understanding of SAP systems/landscapes/infrastructure (including cloud), modules, and their integration capabilities

• Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities, with acute attention to detail

• Continuous improvement mindset: always seeking opportunities to enhance processes, streamline operations, and improve the accuracy of financial data

• Proven ability to effectively work in a highly matrixed environment, with partners from different internal and external groups and geographies

• Experience associated with validated software environments (SDLC) is a plus

• Experience in regulated pharma industry is a plus

• Knowledge of Agile Principles and Scrum Methodology is a plus
