Your role:
Manage product development projects using both external and internal teams. Coordinate, budget, and schedule project activities with strong project management techniques, technical judgment, and interpersonal skills.
Apply lean principles as appropriate while leading multiple projects. Develop and implement comprehensive project plans, including milestones, schedules, budgets, resource plans, cost targets, reliability metrics, and quality standards.
Define, track, and communicate key project metrics and milestones. Facilitate project and design reviews and participate in executive reviews while interacting directly with clinicians, homecare health providers, engineers, and marketing managers.
Proactively identify and mitigate project risks and elevate critical business decisions to appropriate management. Establish and direct activities of contract engineering and design partners, fostering alignment, accountability, and collaboration across the extended project team.
Collaborate closely with Quality, Global Sourcing, Operations, Regulatory, Marketing, and Finance groups to prioritize and establish development and sustaining engineering processes and infrastructure required for medical devices. Maintain an innovative working environment that encourages teamwork, learning agility, and individual contributions, ensuring compliance with Philips’ Quality System Processes (QSPs).
You're the right fit if:
You’ve acquired 2+ years of experience as a technical project manager leading projects with substantial medical product development activities, preferred. You have demonstrated experience in leading cross-functional, technical and design teams, including contract resources and facilitating strong collaboration across multiple geographic locations.
You are experienced with FDA, MDR, & ISO Quality System Requirements (including safety and regulatory testing) and their application within a medical product development environment, desired.
You have the ability to effectively lead and manage within a matrix organization; experience interacting with industrial design resources, human factors exposure, a plus.
You have a Minimum of a BS degree in an engineering or related technical discipline, required; Master’s degree, preferred. PMP certification, a plus.
You have strong written and oral communication skills, strong competency in customer focus, driving for results, integrity, trust, ethics, values, and compassion; you are proficient in Microsoft Office, SharePoint, Project Management Software; and you have demonstrated ability to learn other business software (such as Windchill for document management and enterprise resource planning purposes).
