Responsibilities:

  • Developes and implements of employment policies and practices that are legally and practically sound.
  • Coaches and consultats on the interpretation and application of HR policy and practices in all phases of employment.
  • Creates communications and facilitating training on legislative changes that require revisions to existing HR policies or the creation of new policies to the HR community.
  • Handles day-to-day staff management issues, including resource management and allocation of work within the team/project.
  • Develops and exercises business plans, policies and procedures and may also be responsible for various projects to improve efficiencies.
  • Partners with internal stakeholders on investigations of employee misconduct.
  • Contributes to strategic planning within area of expertise.
  • Recognizes as technical expert and known internally and externally as reliable, knowledgeable resource.
  • Provides an escalation point of investigations conducted by Employee Relations Lead.
  • Manages certain aspects of the Employee Relations team.
  • All other duties as assigned.
  • Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency, as well as effectively supervise the activity of others and create accountability with those who fail to maintain these standards.


Qualifications:

  • 10+ years of experience
  • Possess ability to influence others.


Education:

  • Bachelors/University degree, Master’s degree preferred
