What You’ll Do
  • Create andimplement logistics plans and models that will maximize the availability offinished goods, the flow of raw materials into the site, and WIP tracking
  • Analyze modelsand estimates to effectively schedule transportation, storage, and logisticsrequirements to establish 3PL requirements
  • Coordinatesupply chain activities with production schedules and company objectives bycollaborating with business leadership, production staff, and suppliers
  • Develop asupply and materials flow value stream model to assess the availability of rawmaterials, WIP and finished goods. Coordinate demand forecast with supply plan,optimize costs, mitigate risks and communicate at Sales and Operations Planning(S&OP)
  • Provide dataanalysis to identify trends, patterns, and anomalies to improve forecasts anddecision making. Adapt production plan based on unexpected events
  • Establish 3PLrequirements by modeling material movement in collaboration with TeslaLogistics team and site leadership
  • Maintain andenhance 3PL capacity and reliability by making certain there is sufficientinventory for current and future operations
  • Create andoversee a material flow dashboard to enable quick evaluation and communicationamong team members across the company
  • Supply / DemandPlanning, Monitor inventory levels of raw materials, intermediates, andfinished products to ensure adequate stock and timely replenishment
  • Employinventory control procedures to avert stockouts and surplus inventory whilemaintaining a cost-efficient and lean supply chain. Create and implement autility dashboard and cost model for the site
What You’ll Bring
  • Bachelor's Degree inSupply Chain Management, Logistics, Engineering, or equivalent experience
  • Minimum of 5years proven experience in supply chain logistics planning, preferably withinthe chemical industry or a related manufacturing environment
  • Strongknowledge of planning, modeling, logistics planning, and inventory management
  • Excellentanalytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make data visual todrive smart decisions
  • Effectivecommunication and leadership skills to collaborate with cross-functional teamsand external partners
  • Demonstratedability to handle multiple tasks, prioritize effectively, and meet tightdeadlines
  • Familiaritywith ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) systems, process modeling and otherrelevant logistics software is desirable
  • Must havecommand of the English language, both written and verbal
