What to Expect

We are seeking an Electrician to help further our mission. As anElectrician, you will interface closely with the Project and Operations teamsto execute electrical system commissioning plans while also implementingequipment lifecycle management programs as we transition into the coremaintenance & reliability organization post startup. In support ofthis 24/7 operation, you will be periodically on-call, and may be required tooccasionally work nights and weekends. Competitive pay rate selected based onrelevant experience; overtime available as driven by business need.

What You’ll Do
  • Execute electrical commissioning plans for a variety of equipment acrossthe site, such as motors, breakers, relays, generators, substations, buses,starters, transformers, HRG, and other industrial equipment >480V
  • Validate conformance of all electrical systems pre-commissioning inclose collaboration with Project and Engineering Teams
  • Develop LOTO documentation and switching sequence orders/procedures
  • Populate Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) with BoMsand spare parts as directed
  • Troubleshooting motors/VFD's and complex electrical circuits such asswitchgear controls
  • Execute preventative maintenance procedures and work practices onequipment such as VFD's/switchgear/motors with voltages ranging from 120-480Vand 4160-35kV to ensure the reliability of plant assets post-startup
  • Provide break-in electrical support as needed to resolve electricalequipment issues
What You’ll Bring
  • Evidence of exceptional ability, including a strongunderstanding of electricity fundamentals and demonstrated ability to leveragethis understanding to solve challenging technical problems
  • 3+ years as an Electrician in an industrial manufacturingenvironment, with experience supporting Operations and Maintenanceorganizations 5+ years is preferred
  • Experience maintaining, repairing, and operating mediumvoltage equipment, including troubleshooting and repairing medium voltagerelays
  • Working knowledge of OSHA and NFPA codes and HAZMAT safetyprotocols. Well versed in the National Electrical Code and theInternational Electrical Testing Association
  • Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment,occasionally requiring extended hours
  • Ability to communicate clearly and interface with multipleengineering disciplines and trade experts. Ability to Enforce and follow all Safety rules andregulations
  • Must have command of the English language, both written andverbal
