We are seeking a Certified Combo Pipe Welder/Pipefitter to help further our mission.As a Certified Combo Pipe Welder/Pipefitter, you will interface closely withthe Project and Operations teams to support construction and commissioningjobs, while also supporting field repairs and custom fabrication activities aswe transition into the core maintenance & reliability organization poststartup. In support of this 24/7 operation, you will be periodicallyon-call, and may be required to occasionally work nights and weekends.Competitive pay rate selected based on relevant experience; overtime availableas driven by business need.

• Perform x-ray quality welding in all positions using SMAW andGTAW processes on super duplex stainless steel 2205/2507 and carbon steel fromsch 10 to sch 160
• Read, interpret, and follow basic blueprints, diagrams,engineering drawings, specifications, weld symbols, bills of materials, andother written instructions or procedures to accurately create or repairequipment and products
• Design and build basic and/or complex structures, supports,or framework in the execution of daily tasks. Work with Engineers andSpecialist throughout the design and ultimately fabrication of custom components
• Cutting various alloys using oxy/acetylene torch and plasmaarc processes
• Utilize handheld tools such as a handheld screw gun, drillgun, and grinders to operate calipers, weld gauges, tape measures, and otherwelding hand tools
• Create specific weldment set-ups and fixturing to meetgeometric requirements
• Observe and comply with all safety and project rules.Performs other duties as required (Fitting, installing, bolting pipe &valves. Rigging and assisting other crafts as needed)

• 10+ years’ experience as a Certified Welder in thePetrochemical, Refinery, or related field
• Ability to climb and work at heights and in confined spaces(may exceed 100ft). Able to work outdoors in all weather conditions
• Ability to read and understand WPS
  
• Ability to use hand tools, power tools and layout tools safeand efficiently
• Must be physically able to carry up to 50lbs of tools and/ormaterial
• Must have command of the English language, both written andverbal
