Job Description

What you should do

• Act as senior data analyst within Business of IT (IT Service Management and Operations, Lifecycle management, financial planning, etc.) domain and provide performance and stability KPIs to operational teams and senior leadership

• Engage and communicate with business stakeholders to groom user stories, plan implementation, and ensure stakeholder satisfaction

• Facilitate development sessions, set up focus groups, and elicit, analyze, and verify requirements effectively

• Leverage data warehouse platforms to prepare and transform data for IT stability, performance, and efficiency KPIs by developing SQL statements for ETL processes as well as visualization data pre-processing

• Optimize query performance to ensure efficient data retrieval and processing

• Leverage analytical methods to analyze trends and identify opportunities using real data

• Contribute to appropriate documentation according to Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) practice

• Identify and understand system shortfalls and formulate functional requirements to drive implementation of improvements and automations

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to prioritize and plan reporting and analytics initiatives

• Develop and maintain strong relationships with business stakeholders to understand their needs and provide valuable insights

• Provide regular updates and reports to senior leadership and stakeholders on the progress and impact of reporting and analytics projects

How we see the ideal candidate

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field. Master's degree preferred

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role, ideally withing IT Service Management and Operations domain

• In-depth knowledge of ITIL process methodology (including Configuration management database – CMDB)

• Proficient in database systems and their architectures, including Big data and Data warehouse platforms

• Advanced proficiency in developing complex SQL queries and query performance tuning

• Experience with visual modeling tools for ETL and architectural modeling

• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze trends and identify opportunities

• Strong communication and documentation skills

• Experience or familiarity with Microsoft Power BI, Tibco Spotfire or similar BI tool

• Familiarity with IT Service Management tools and their application in data analysis and reporting

• Familiarity with AI technologies and their application in reporting and analysis

• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills

• Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently and collaboratively

• Ability to work effectively in a global team and collaborate with cross-functional teams

• Experience in grooming user stories, planning implementation, and engaging and communicating with business stakeholders
