Minimum qualifications:
Preferred qualifications:
- JD, LL.B., equivalent degree, or equivalent practical experience.
- Admitted to the bar and in good standing or otherwise authorized to practice law (e.g., have registered in-house status) in the state in which the position is located.
- 10 years of attorney-level experience in government, in-house, or at a law firm.
- Experience managing teams.
Preferred qualifications:
- Experience with international treaty and diplomatic processes, advising companies on cybersecurity legal issues, or conducting internal investigations.
- Experience with one of the following: advising companies on compliance with data privacy laws, regulations, incidents, the legal mechanisms governing the compelled disclosure of user data by service providers.
- Knowledge of privacy, consumer protection, antitrust, contract, content moderation/safety, or IP law issues in a technology context.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
