Purpose & Overall Relevance for the Organization:

  • Support the Partner Development Director in driving the digital development of the defined Key Account webshops across Europe, seeking to optimize our brand representation, consumer experience & ultimately growing net sales & market share

  • Work with Global DPC & key European stakeholders to identify and address opportunities to drive traffic and conversion for our brand within our key partner webshops

  • As the marketplace lead, play a key role in developing our online marketplace business across Europe, being the main point of contacts for all above market topics

  • Own the eMarketplace go-to-market strategy & execution across Europe for Digital Partner Commerce (DPC) – including all digital wholesale policies, terms & conditions

Role & Responsibilities:

  • Enhance the visibility of our brand across all digital partners, with an immediate focus on the key digital players in each country in Europe

  • Support the Partner Development Director in the continuous creations of best-practice documentations that can be adopted and executed by the European Cluster teams

  • Facilitate regular review of Digital KPI progress across European market in collaboration with Analytics and Cluster teams

  • Identify opportunities for and facilitate creation of relevant digital content including procurement, curation, and end-to-end process ownership

  • With a view on maximizing local application, implement a trade-driven reactive content workstream to generate incremental in-season sell out opportunities

  • Ensure alignment with Platform Trading team in Partner Program for a holistic approach to brand performance management across key digital partners

  • Drive the creation and adoption of new initiatives that can be adopted by our key digital partners in Europe to help achieve our DPC ambitions

  • Identify, on an ongoing basis, new consumer engagement mechanics to drive traffic to adidas on the sites of our key digital partners

  • Act as a partner to the Partner Development Director in ensuring the various cluster teams are effectively executing the European & Global DPC strategy, supporting them on this journey

  • Embodying a kaizen mindset, continuously look to evolve our digital capabilities with our WHS partners, in the pursuit of maximizing consumer experience, conversion and sales

  • Drive continuous improvement of tools, processes, and systems within the DPC scope

  • Act as a key contact person for global & local stakeholders across topics concerning digital wholesale in Europe

  • With support of data, continuously propose to the DPC organization how we can enhance the performance of our brands online

  • Apply effective communication methods to senior management and stakeholders

  • Showcase expertise in key internal & external environments (e.g. Sell-ins, KA meetings, General Manager/Sales Director meetings, Sales & Marketing meetings etc.)

  • Drive the exploration, piloting and implementation of different logistical, operational & commercial models through which we would interact with different eMarketplaces across Europe.

  • Oversee the Marketplace approval process & ePolicy implementation, ensuring that all our partners have a distinct incremental role to play & enable safe, brand enhancing consumer focused ecosystems for our brand

  • Ownership of the digitally related internal and external wholesale policies and contractual agreements to ensure growth of our online business

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • BA / BS in Business, Finance, Economics or related field (MBA preferred)

  • Minimum 6 years professional experience in Digital activation or e-Commerce (combination of brand’s own eCom and retailer.com - preferred)

  • Extremely strong organizational and planning skills - flexibility to handle multiple tasks and business partners. Project Management preferred.

  • Extremely strong Powerpoint skills required coupled with excellent communication and presentation skills.

  • Advanced Excel skills and high proficiency in spreadsheet analyses. The ideal candidate must be self-motivated and passionate about deriving business insight from ecom data, improving business processes, and solving problems.

  • Excellent analytical and problem solving skills with the ability to present and map complex business processes (interest in technical and business eCommerce projects a must).

  • Quick to learn new systems and tools

  • Ability to work in a deadline driven environment.

  • Fluency in English is required; another European language would be beneficial.

  • Understanding of key digital metrics & how to accelerate these online

  • Comfortable working in an international environment

  • Proactive mindset, showcasing initiative and relentless tenacity to achieve results
