As a Director of Global Content Marketing, you will be responsible for:

• Leading a team of research writers and data scientists to deliver results to advance credibility and leadership
• Pioneering groundbreaking, audience-centric editorial and content strategies to acquire new readers, and build brand loyalty
• Leveraging research and industry trends to understand what resonates with audiences, and define content areas to expand
• Driving new and creative communications vehicles for research content
• Collaborating to deliver a holistic security research content strategy and editorial plan; present to executives on results
• Representing the company for Security Research findings/content at Akamai and larger industry events and with the media

Do what you love

To be successful in this role you will:

• Have 10 years experience and Master's degree in marketing, communications, or specialization in cybersecurity and security
• Demonstrate leadership and people management experience
• Demonstrate experience with strategic thinking, cross-functional collaboration, public speaking, project management, planning and organization
• Have an entrepreneurial spirit, with a focus on outcomes and ability to manage to key performance indicators
• Have an understanding of multicultural cybersecurity trends, insights, passion points and media content consumption behaviors
• Have a passion for data storytelling, an eye on industry trends, and a lot of creativity
