GSAM Client Solutions Group (CSG) works to develop and execute thoughtful investment solutions for institutional clients across the globe. Our diverse institutional client base includes corporate and public pension funds, foundations and endowments, insurers, financial institutions, and governments.

CSG markets GSAM's investment products and services to institutions, financial intermediaries, and advisors. The focus is on building and maintaining long-term client relationships and communicating key themes from the firm's leading investment professionals. CSG provides investment solutions across all major asset classes (e.g., fixed income, equities, and alternatives) and products including mutual funds, ETFs, separate accounts, and alternative investments.

Responsibilities

•Partner with National Accounts on placement prioritization and wealth sponsor firm specialized data pulls that inform a highly targeted sales approach at prioritized firms to develop targeted Advisor campaigns

•Outline a multi-year commercial roadmap that requires product development (strategies, features, functionality) and placement roadmap and partner with internal Investment, Tech, and Ops partners for execution.

•Represent the full SMA platforms with Wealth clients at major broker dealers, and RIA C-suite.

•Develop a solutions-based selling system that embeds Goldman as an essential partner to the advisor’s practice/firm by leveraging the breadth of Goldman’s capabilities.

•Build-out Specialists team strategy (SMA, Models, Portfolio Design Consultants) with coverage maps, target Advisor lists, KPIs, management & pipeline reporting.

•Partner with Business Enablement and Sales Management teams to develop SMA pipeline reporting and KPI tracking.

•Lead and develop a team of 5 internal advisor experience specialists, the SMA Advisor Experience team.

•Design and implement regional trainings for our national specialist and wholesaler network.

•Draft custom client proposals in partnership with client coverage team.

•Partner with marketing and investing teams to develop sales collateral to be leveraged for our broader Third-Party Wealth sales organization.

•Execute key initiatives applying the hallmarks of sound program management and inspirationally lead horizontally across the organization.

•Provide leadership, collaboration, and community in matrix organization via Customized Solutions OpCo with key partners in Sales, Investment, Tech, and Ops.

•Minimum of 10 years of experience in business leadership and platform development.

•Business builder with an entrepreneurship-like spirit who enjoys operating with plenty of white space to design a strategy.

•Series 7 and 63 preferred

•Flexible, responsive, and self-starting personality. Demonstrated experience influencing/leading by inspiration in a highly collaborative, matrixed environment.

•Strong writing and visualization skills – one who can make the complex simple, who can succinctly articulate a benefits-oriented value proposition.

•Deep understanding of the asset management and wealth advisory markets.

•Intellectual agility and pragmatic personality, with the talent to adapt to an evolving environment.


The expected base salary for this New York, New York, United States-based position is $125000-$290000. In addition, you may be eligible for a discretionary bonus if you are an active employee as of fiscal year-end.
