About the role
Responsible for the accelerating the development of Complex PCI / CTO therapies by implementing a range of strategic initiatives to drive franchise expansion of this market through the CRC and sales organization. The role will require versatility and deep knowledge of the coronary therapies market in order to stay ahead of the dynamic clinical strategies used to treat this disease state. The CT Therapy Development Manager will work with the CRC and Sales organization to align priorities, drive marketing strategies, develop new programs and ensure execution within the sales organization.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Primary responsibility is to be accountable to both the business unit and the sales organization to deliver profitable growth and maximize market opportunities by implementing and driving strategic initiatives that effectively engage the CRC team to accelerate the expansion of Complex PCI and CTO therapies.
- Ensure consistency in skill-level and approach to account growth for the CRC Organization.
- Support CRC and sales by selling on clinical differentiation in the procedure, value proposition, product launch, physician onboarding, early case coverage and training.
- In collaboration with sales ops, define appropriate goals and metrics to measure value of the CRC organization that effectively drives sales goals; evaluate CRC resourcing model to determine appropriate capacity by market.
- Develop action plans using data and analytics to direct account targeting and closely track how our CRC and sales organization are performing and identify needs of accounts, discuss issues with Sales leadership to help the organization achieve its sales goals.
- Partner closely with our commercial teams on new product launches to build clinical training strategies to drive market adoption and prioritize programs and resources to grow Complex PCI and CTO therapies while developing new strategies that reflect changing market conditions.
- Interact with leadership from Marketing, Sales, Finance, Clinical, Medical Education, Senior Management and other groups to ensure alignment on goals and objectives and to communicate impact of CRC organization.
- Champion a culture of patient centricity, customer intimacy, ethics, compliance, and inclusion.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant technical field, engineering, or equivalent/related experience
- Strong strategic skillset and proactive cross-functional team player with capability to communicate concisely cross-functionally, with senior management, and across business units/divisions; ability to confidently provide guidance to course correct as needed.
- Strong analytical capabilities with ability to identify trends & opportunities.
- Leadership abilities to influence a team that reports to another leader.
- Experience working globally in a virtual & matrixed organization, directly across multiple countries/regions, with proven ability to work within areas of cultural difference or consumer sensitivity is required.
- A sustained track record of success with at least 5 years of Marketing and / or Sales experience.
- Bachelor’s degree, and preferably MBA focused on marketing or significant relevant experience.
- Minimum 5 years of successful business experience in the healthcare field
- Travel 30 – 50%
Preferred Qualifications and Competencies
- Strong clinical acumen in the Interventional Cardiology / Coronary Therapy space; high-level of comfort in navigating the medical environment, to include labs and hospital settings.
- Strong commercial mindset and ability to partner with commercial team.
- Demonstrated ability to create, implement and execute standardized processes to increase strategic planning and brand management practices.
