Your responsibilities include:

  • Strong functional knowledge of Procurement Processes and understanding on how Ariba integrates with SAP ECC
  • Evaluate change requests for feasibility, and adherence to global design. Focus on resolution tracking and problem escalation.
  • Provides System Administrative support including managing groups, roles, permissions, etc.
  • Acts as a liaison between departmental end-users, technical analysts, information technology analysts, consultants and other governmental organizations in the analysis, design, configuration, testing and maintenance of case management systems to ensure optimal operational performance. Will assist with configuration, integration, maintenance, and support of an established global design.
  • Create and maintain comprehensive technical documentation, including system configuration, customization, and Integration setups.
  • Should be able Support ARIBA project work stream activities, working with internal and external cross-functional groups. Acts as a liaison between each region (NA, EMEA, APAC, LATAM) Procurement Ops teams, IT Technical team and others as needed on Ariba.
  • Must have experience working in Product teams and strong understanding of Agile Methodology
  • Identifies opportunities for improvement that will best meet with customer and company requirements.
  • Assures quality of business systems by developing and executing test specifications, and implementing test and quality plans, while working with quality assurance analysts to improve IT quality processes.
  • Creates and provides quality training material for user assistance and system usage.
  • Works closely with the development team (internal and external) to assure a timely solution is delivered according to the specifications and implementation needs of the business.
  • Interface/Integration experience
  • Material Management & Financial Accounting Knowledge of SAP R/3 (Procurement)
  • Background in deployment and roll-out of ARIBA systems and solutions is a plus
  • Strong process background Standards/Governance/System Change Management
  • Understanding of AI for Ariba, intelligent recommendations and ML


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field plus 5+ years of relevant business process and system analysis experience
  • Speaks fluent English. Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
  • Ability and willingness to support alternate work hours (APAC / Europe Timings/US)
  • Demonstrated problem solving skills, solving complex problems, demonstrating sound business judgement and applying clear decision making. Experienced in working with developers to provide business solutions
  • Highly organized and able to manage multiple priorities.
  • Experience in a regulated environment
  • Experience partnering with external vendors and business partners on projects, including working with offshore and geographically dispersed teams
  • Experienced in trouble shooting system & data issues
  • Proven experience in translating data into actionable business insight
  • Ability to identify and implement process improvement opportunities
  • Self-starter with strong, proactive work ethic
  • Exceptional organizational & time management skills
  • SAP ARIBA certification will be plus.
  • Experience in SAP SCC will be good to have
