As a key member of our support team, you will immerse yourself in the latest mobile network technologies and platforms. You will play a crucial role in resolving intricate issues across 2G/3G/4G/5G networks and applications, ensuring smooth customer interactions and contributing to technological progress.
• Provide expert support for Cisco Mobile Packet Core hardware (ASR5500) and Virtual Packet Core/Ultra Services Platform.
• Address and resolve sophisticated mobile network issues, enhancing customer satisfaction.
• Utilize Linux, OpenStack, and virtualization technologies to support global customers.
• Collaborate with diverse teams to implement innovative solutions.
• Foster customer success through empathy and technical prowess.
Minimum Qualifications
• Basic to intermediate knowledge of Linux systems.
• Experience with mobile networks (2G/3G/4G/5G) and Mobile Packet Core applications.
• Familiarity with Mobile Packet Core protocols (GTP, DIAMETER, RADIUS, PFCP, SCTP).
• Proficiency in IP networking, routing, and switching technologies (CCNP level).
• Understanding of security technologies, such as IPSec, SSL, and VPNs.
Preferred Qualifications
• Programming skills in Bash or Python.
• Cisco Certifications: CCNA or CCNP
• Certifications in virtualization technologies (OpenStack, VMware, Kubernetes).
• Advanced Linux/Unix system administration skills (Debian/Red Hat).
• Experience with service provider customer base, particularly mobile service providers.
