Role is directly reporting to International Head of Regulatory Reporting.
What you’ll do:
- Timely and accurate delivery of reports under production responsibility
- Implementation of standard controls with timeliness and completeness, in line with control guidelines and policy requirements
- Timely escalation of issues to appropriate management and stakeholder levels
- Monitor team capacity, taking necessary precautions to prevent issues due to capacity problems.
- Lead, sponsor, support initiatives for increasing control quality and production efficiency.
- Actively engage with stakeholders to create a constructive and efficient relationship.
- In line with Citi’s standards engage with direct reports regularly and support them to be effective managers of managers.
- Invest time in direct reports’ individual development.
- Through skip level meetings and any other appropriate method, ensure managerial and staff issues are identified across the team and actions are taken.
- Keep open communication channels, keep team up to date and informed about decisions impacting their work.
- Focus on talent management and management of low performing employees, ensure relevant actions are taken timely as needed.
What we’ll need from you:
- 12+ years of experience including financial/regulatory reporting, automation / change initiatives, management reporting
- Experience in manager / manager of managers capacity
- Stakeholder management experience
- Ability to present and influence across organization level and functions
- Ability to translate strategy into execution
- Consistently demonstrates clear and concise written and verbal communication.
- With a sense of urgency, ability to manage with agility and make decisions to prioritize appropriately in the face of competing challenges
- Excellent command of English
- Ability to understand and analyze complex variables and come up with data-based proposals.
- Bachelor’s degree/University degree or equivalent experience
- Master’s degree preferred
