What a typical day looks like:

  • Requesting quotations, examining offers, negotiating commercial terms, selecting suppliers;
  • Monitoring orders for materials and / or services to suppliers; financial reconciliation between orders and invoices;
  • Management of procurement projects, with impact on the company's financial results;
  • Organizing and coordinating tenders for the procurement of goods and services;
  • Reducing costs and improving payment terms with Flex Romania suppliers, indirect materials and services, applying Business Ethics and Flex Policies and Procedures;
  • Continuous market research to expand the list of potential suppliers and ensure preliminary contacts;
  • The process of evaluation and selection of the supplier, meetings with the suppliers, analysis of the contracts, audits at suppliers;
  • Monitoring and observance of the contracts in place;
  • Advising project managers requesting support on procurement related topics;
  • Interaction with internal departments to resolveprocurement/contractualissues, interface with the legal consultant if necessary.


The experience we’re looking to add to our team:

  • University degree (Economics or Law is an advantage);
  • Experience in the field of procurement and supplier management (2 – 4 years experience;
  • Experience in the management of commercial contracts (principles, contractual clauses, etc.);
  • English - advanced level (written and spoken);
  • Good knowledge of PC operations - MS Office, Internet;
  • Capacity for analysis and synthesis, customer orientation;
  • Ability to interpret a wide variety of numerical data;
  • Good communication skills and team spirit;
  • Knowing an ERP system is an advantage.
