Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
• Independently manage West Pharma's voice, video, physical security and collaboration infrastructure across development, quality & mission-critical production environments
• Handle critical voice, video, security system (Access control and CCTV) and collaboration projects independently with proven planning, prioritizing and organization skills
• Independently analyze, solve, and correct issues in real time, providing end-to-end problem resolution.
• Specifies, orders, plans, schedules, and performs AV collab hardware, software migrations, installations, configurations, upgrades, and modifications to enhance the performance, capacity, integrity, usability and insure upward compatibility of the Network.
• Provide support and administration for the Microsoft, Cisco, Avaya, and other Unified Communications environment (Microsoft Teams, Session Border controller, gateway, Cisco, Avaya call and other Managers and Voice mail system)
• Participate in projects to enhance and extend capabilities in the collaboration space
• Manage and maintain West Pharma’s security systems (Video and access)
• Stay current with emerging collaboration technology and identify capabilities which can be leveraged to achieve business goals.
• Expertise in all areas of administration like Design, Installation, Configuration, Backup & Recovery, Performance Tuning etc.
• Performing scheduled maintenance & patch deployment to ensure compliance.
• Responsible to setting up & documenting production policies, security baseline, procedures & instructions.
Education and Experience:
• Diploma, bachelor’s or master’s degree in IT stream
• 5-8 years of experience in and collaboration technology
Preferred Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
• Strong knowledge on H323, SIP protocols.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Teams telephony system including
o Teams’ admin center configuration &feature enabling
o Dial Plan and call routing
o Direct Routing, operator connect solutions
o Session Border controller (SBC)
o Gateways implementation and troubleshooting.
o PCAP analysis and log reading
o VoIP (Voice over IP)
o PSTN (Public Switched Telephone Network)
o PowerShell scripting
• Experience in resolving highly complex issues Microsoft unified communication solutions
• Integration of video systems with control systems in meeting rooms
• Knowledge on Microsoft Teams and integration with voice and video solutions
• Knowledge CISCO, Avaya and other legacy call manager and video communication server control and expressway solutions
• Knowledge in different video conferencing devices, gateways and gatekeepers
• Must demonstrate ability to interact with other technical teams, identify opportunities for continuous improvement, plan for dependencies, mitigate security risks and deliver solutions that require a high degree of integration
• Must have strong communication skills to work with internal customers
• Strong analytical & problem-solving ability along with excellent communication skills..
• Able to comply with the West Pharma’s Safety and Quality policy at all times
Physical and Travel Requirements
• Willing to work in shift 12:00pm to 9:00pm
• 15% travel, including global travel
• Occasional on-call work required
• Should be willing to travel to global locations as and when required
