Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
• Assist in maintaining and updating Microsoft Teams telephony systems, including phone systems, session border controllers, and Teams Rooms across development, quality & mission-critical production environments.
• Provide support for physical security systems such as physical access control and video surveillance systems
• Help with the implementation, configuration, upgrades and administration of voice, video, and physical security infrastructure
• With guidance Implement comprehensive monitoring to ensure that systems and services are reliable, current, and accessible, consistently adhering to SLAs and governance standards.
• Participated in telephony, physical security system (access control and CCTV) projects, working closely with senior engineers and onsite team members to achieve project milestones.
• Troubleshoot and provide support for critical voice, video, security systems (Access Control and CCTV), and collaboration systems.
• Regularly communicating with senior engineers and onsite technicians to resolve problems efficiently.
• Demonstrated ability to prioritize tasks effectively and maintain strong organizational skills
• With guidance analyze, solve, and correct issues in real time, providing end-to-end problem resolution.
• Provide support and administration for the Microsoft, Cisco, Avaya or other Unified Communications environment (Microsoft Teams, Session Border controller, Call Manager and Voice mail system etc.)
• Stay current with emerging collaboration technology and identify capabilities which can be leveraged to achieve business goals.
• Assist in all aspects of administration, including installation, configuration, backup and recovery, and performance tuning etc.
• Perform scheduled maintenance and patch deployment to ensure systems comply with regulatory and security standards.
Education and Experience:
• Diploma, bachelor’s, or master’s degree
• 3-5 years of experience in and collaboration technology
Preferred Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
• knowledge on H323, SIP protocols.
• Knowledge and experience in Microsoft Teams telephony system including
• Knowledge on physical access control and Video surveillance system
• Skilled in Integrating video systems with control systems in meeting rooms
• Good in resolving highly complex issues with Microsoft unified communication solutions
• Knowledge on Microsoft Teams and integration with voice and video solutions
• Knowledge in different video conferencing devices, gateways, and gatekeepers
• Good in CISCO, Avaya, other telephony system and video communication servers
• Analytical & problem-solving skills
• Demonstrates the ability to work with other technical teams, identifies continuous improvement opportunities, plans for dependencies, mitigates security risks, and delivers highly integrated solutions.
• Able to comply with the West Pharma’s Safety and Quality policy at all times.
Physical and Travel Requirements
• Willing to work in shift 12:00pm to 9:00pm
• 15% travel, including global travel
• Occasional on-call work required
• Should be willing to travel to global locations as and when required
