Key Responsibilities - Drive implementation of the technology vision and roadmap for all aspects of autonomous flight in collaboration with key stakeholders
- Developing and retaining a high-performance innovative team
- Building additional capability in Systems Engineering, Robotics, and Artificial Intelligence
- Interact with senior-level leaders including Honeywell staff, partners, and customers
- Driving a management operating system that ensures alignment and project performance in accordance with internal and external stakeholder requirements
- Developing a robust pursuit pipeline and winning external contracts aligned with technology and business strategies
- Identifying and engaging with key strategic partners including key academic institutions
- Persuading internal and external parties to accept new concepts, practices, and approaches
- Managing department expenses
- 20% Travel Expected
U.S. PERSON REQUIREMENTS Salary Range- $212,000- 265,000
YOU MUST HAVE - Bachelor of Science in Engineering – Electrical, Computer Science, Aerospace, Mechanical
- 10 years of experience in Technology Development, New Product Development
- Must be a US Citizen due to contractual requirements
WE VALUE - Advanced degree in Engineering – Masters or PhD
- Experience developing technology or products for autonomous vehicles
- Ability to establish a strategy and execution plan within an ambiguous environment and quickly pivot when necessary
- Engineering organization management experience with global footprint
- Strong Technology Development Practices, Processes and Tools
- Aerospace industry experience & exposure – standards and regulations
- Demonstrated capability to manage in a complex cross functional business structure
- Ability to lead by example, maintain positive attitude, big picture perspective, personal accountability
