Your Role and Responsibilities
You will be responsible for developing messaging for the inbound digital ecosystem, influencing our strategy for content merchandising. You will partner with our inbound content strategists to develop content for a/b testing and personalization efforts across this footprint, helping us understand the impact content attributes, like tone of voice, on conversion on different audiences.

To achieve our conversion goals, success in this role will include:

  • Becoming knowledgeable about the IBM Style Guide
  • Ensuring compliance and consistency across ibm.com inbound pages by through adherence to the IBM Style Guide and adoption of tools like Acrolinx
  • Editing and staging content within our CMS platform, AEM
  • Brainstorming and suggesting different testing and personalization ideas based on data
  • Collaborating with content strategists on understanding different audiences and the prioritization of high impact experiments

Submission of Portfolio in your resume is highly recommended for this role.

This is a Hybrid role, attendance to the office will be required only 3 times peer week


Required Technical and Professional Expertise

  • You have copyediting and copywriting experience and have related work samples
  • You enjoy self-driven learning on new technologies
  • Able to work independently, with a strong sense of responsibility and commitment to teamwork. You have a volunteer spirit with a ‘we succeed as a team’ attitude.
  • Have worked in a CMS before, preferably AEM
  • Good communication skills within a project, ensuring appropriate handoff to the next person in workflow
  • Able to mentor more junior members of the team


Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise

  • Have a wide breadth of content development expertise, particularly within writing
  • Can demonstrate impact with their content expertise with data (views, rankings, etc)
