Key responsibilities are:

• Designing, architecting, and implementing Cloud RAN solutions to meet the performance, scalability, and reliability requirements
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams to integrate Cloud RAN solutions into the existing network infrastructure
• Leading the development and optimization of SMO strategies for efficient service delivery and management
• Providing technical expertise and guidance to ensure the successful deployment and operation of Cloud RAN solutions
• Identifying opportunities for innovation and optimization in Cloud RAN architecture and SMO processes
• Keeping abreast of industry trends and emerging technologies related to Cloud RAN and SMO
• Ownership of SW architecture of entire system defined by project scope
• Ownership of test strategy for entire system defined by project scope
• Defining and reviewing the HW/SW Architecture team deliverables
• Coaching and training HW/SW Architecture team individual contributors
• Defining requirements for HW architecture with respect to SW

You have:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
• Proven experience in designing, architecting, and implementing (preferably Cloud RAN) solutions.
• Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Go lang, Java, or C++.
• Experience in micro-service architecture
• Hands-on experience with working in Linux, Git environment, containers like Docker, Kubernetes, Helm
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

It would be nice if you also had:

• Experience with software-defined networking (SDN) and network functions virtualization (NFV).
• Knowledge of 5G network architecture and protocols.
• Certifications in Cloud RAN or SMO technologies (e.g., Nokia Cloud Packet Core, Cisco Network Services Orchestrator)
• Hands-on experience with virtualization technologies (e.g., OpenStack, VMware).
• Understanding of SMO principles, methodologies, and tools.
