About the role:

The Endoscopy PMO is seeking an experienced, dynamic, and strategic Project Management professional to lead New Product Development projects to deliver best in class devices to patients and clinicians in support of BSC’s mission.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Effectively leads medium to large cross-functional development teams; provides input to functional managers on team and team member performance.
  • Manages key initiating, planning, executing, controlling, and closing processes; builds team ownership and commitment to project plan; identify, manage, and communicate moderate to high levels of technical and business risk.
  • Identifies resources required for project activities, develops, and manages project budgets, resource allocations and timelines. Leads development and management of the project Financial Model.
  • Prioritizes, delegates, and manages tasks among team members as appropriate to drive timely execution of project deliverables; identifies and manages project dependencies and critical path while ensuring project quality.
  • Manages individual project challenges and drives resolution to project issues by collaborating with team members, project customers, and others as appropriate.
  • Responsible for clear and timely team and cross-functional communication; liaison between the team and leadership (Franchise Leadership Team & Project Investment Board); leads phase and business reviews, project meeting minutes, issues log, metrics, and other key communications.
  • Partners and collaborates with a variety of functions, regions, and business resources to achieve project objectives.
  • Ensures current BSC policies and practices are followed, including documentation requirements.
  • Conducts periodic project post-mortems and communicates lessons learned and best practices to drive continuous improvement.
  • Collaborates across PMO team to share project management knowledge and drive improvements to organization; acts as mentor to less experienced Project Managers.

Required qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Science, Engineering or Business and 7+ years of work experience in product developmentOR
  • Master’s Degree in Science, Engineering or Business and 5+ years of work experience in product development
  • Demonstrated project management experience leading cross functional teams and managing project scope, schedule, and budget.
  • Excellent organizational skills, interpersonal skills, and strong verbal, written, and presentation skills.
  • Strong Emotional Intelligence, situational leadership, and ability to manage by influence.
  • Results-oriented, positive attitude focused on delivering timely, accurate and best in class execution.
  • Comfortable communicating to and presenting in front of all levels of the organization.
  • Proficiency in MS Office applications

Preferred qualifications and competencies:

  • Experience in the medical device industry
  • Previous New Product Development experience and/or knowledge of the Product Development Process (PDP)
  • PMP® certification
  • Technical or engineering background
  • Technical Problem-Solving expertise
